The first two episodes of “Star Wars: The Acolyte” is now up on Disney Plus, and I have also seen episodes three and four. Is this new Star Wars series worth your time? Check out my spoiler free review below!
“Star Wars: The Acolyte” centers on a Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) who teams up with his former Padawan (Amandla Stenberg) to solve a series of crimes that may be tied to the Jedis as well as the ex-Padawan’s tragic past. Ensemble includes Manny Jacinto, Daftne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Dean-Charles Chapman and Carrie-Anne Moss.
There are eight episodes in all, and so far I am enjoing the overall mystery of the series. Stenberg and Jung-Jae’s performances are a huge reason to give “Star Wars: The Acolyte” a shot. Plus, I really want to figure out the overall mystery that is hanging over the program.
