Halloween season is upon us, but more importantly horror is more than just a seasonal thing. To spotlight the broad scope of horror indie filmmaking, Steve Barton has produced the “All Hallows’ Eve” movies. The latest, “All Hallows’ Eve: Inferno” is now available on Tubi and Fandango. Barton talked to CinemAddicts co-host Eric Holmes about the movie and his lifelong passion for horror.
One of the goals of the “All Hallows’ Eve” movies is to spotlight storytellers who are crafting intriguing tales within the horror space. “There are so many good short films out there that nobody has seen that are already made,” said Steve Barton, who is also a producer on ‘Terrifier 2.’ “What if we could work with those filmmakers to give their shorts a second life? It’s good for the genre. It’s good for the filmmaker . . . I love being able to spotlight the work of indie filmmakers.”
