The teaser trailer to the psychological horror movie The First Omen has just been released by 20th Century Studios. The picture hits theaters on April 5. Check out the teaser trailer and further details on the movie below!
The First Omen’s narrative centers on a young American woman (Nell Tiger Free) who heads to Rome for a life of service to the church. A terrifying conspiracy leads her to question her own faith, as she must ultimately face the evil before her. Arkasha Stevenson (Legion, Briarpatch) wrote and directed the feature. Tim Smith and Keith Thomas are the other credited writers on The First Omen.
Tawfeek Barhom (Mary Magdalene), Sonia Braga (Kiss of the Spider Woman), Ralph Ineson (The Northman), and Bill Nighy (Living) round out the ensemble.
A prequel to the hit 1976 feature (The Omen) which starred Gregory Peck and Lee Remick, The First Omen has big shoes to fill! The Omen shocked the living heck out of me as a child, and years later I am too scared to relive that experience! I will rewatch the original before The First Omen’s April 5th release just for preparation.
