Ray Romano is behind and in front of the camera with the upcoming Somewhere in Queens. Romano also co-wrote the comedy, which centers on the life of an Italian-American family living in Queens, New York. This marks Romano’s feature directing debut.
Leo Russo (Ray Romano) lives in Queens, New York with his wife Angela (Laurie Metcalf) and their introverted and talented son “Sticks” (Jacob Ward). Sticks is a high school basketball player, and he might have the chance for a college scholarship.
Things go south for Sticks when he breaks up with his girlfriend. Leo is understandably worried for his son, and he wants his kid to keep his focus on attending university. Although Leo is happy working the family construction business with his dad (Tony Lo Bianco) and younger brother (Sebastian Maniscalco), he wants a different future fo Sticks.
