Kiernan Shipka Cares For Neurodivergent Parents In ‘Wildflower’ Trailer

Feature, co-starring Charlie Plummer and Alexandra Daddario, hits cinemas March 17.

Kiernan Shipka is the lead in Wildflower, a dramaedy which hits theaters March 17 and releases on digital and On Demand the following week. The 23-year-old actress, best known for her work on Mad Men and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, stars as a teenager who takes care of her neurodivergent parents (Dash Mihok, Samantha Hyde). The picture is inspired by the true story of director Matt Smulker’s niece Christina Stahl who was the subject of his 2020 documentary (also called Wildflower).

Jana Savage penned the script on the feature film, which co-stars Charlie Plummer, Alexandra Daddario, Erika Alexander, Jean Smart, Jacki Weaver, and Reid Scott.
