CinemAddicts co-host Eric Holmes interviewed actor Douglas Smith and director Lowell Dean for their new movie “Die Alone.” Holmes actually laughed during the interview, because Smith actually gave a slight spoiler. That said, the chat is still worth a look, and Smith’s reveal does not ruin your enjoyment of “Die Alone.” Check out our post for the interview and more “Die Alone” details.

“Die Alone” centers on Ethan, a young man in search of his girlfriend (Kimberly-Sue Murray) in a world where humanity is in short supply. Helping him on his trek is Mae (Carrie-Anne Moss), a survivalist who takes a shine to Ethan. Frank Grillo co-stars as a family man who has a pivotal role in the story.

Lowell Dean recounts the 10-year process in getting the movie made, and Smith details his immediate attraction to the screenplay. Dean admits that the script went through its share of drafts, and ultimately the final result yielded a story that both Eric and I absolutely enjoyed.
