Inspired by the life of Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco, the dramatic limited series was created by Narcos and Narcos: Mexico showrunner Eric Newman. Narcos filmmaker Andrés Baiz directs all six episodes of the program, which is co-created by Doug Miro, Ingrid Escajeda and Carlo Bernard.
Sofía Vergara goes full throttle in the Griselda trailer, and she even uses a baseball bat to punish an assumed adversary (or who knows, maybe it’s a co-worker who’s not doing his job?).
Griselda’s ensemble includes Alberto Guerra, Christian Tappan, Martin Rodrigues, Juliana Aidén Martinez, Vanessa Ferlito, and Carolina Giraldo (aka Karol G).
