Trans women Roshni (Muskan) and Laila (Manisha Soni) are trying to find a new place after their landlord evicts them without any notice. With the harassment and discrimination they face, Roshni and Laila’s journey in finding a roof over their head is not an easy task.

A Place Of Our Own is directed by Ektara Collective, a collaborative group of filmmakers that spotlight. and empowers marginalized communities. Their previous feature was 2017’s Checkmate.
