Rosamund Pike (“Saltburn”) and Matthew Rhys (“The Americans”) play parents who receive a late night distress call from their daughter in the upcoming film “Hallow Road.” BAFTA award winning filmmaker Babak Anvari (“Under the Shadow,” “I Came By”) directed this claustrophobic feature which had its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival. The “Hallow Road” trailer gives off “Locke” vibes, and possibly the parents (Pike, Rhys) will spend most of the narrative in their vehicle. Currently the movie has a 92% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes. “Hallow Road,” which hit UK theaters on May 16, marked the feature screenwriting debut of Mark Gillies.
