Find Your Film 171: ‘Boudica: Queen of War’ And ‘Navajo Police: Class 57’ Interviews

On the latest episode of Find Your Film, we have two sets of interviews conducted by Eric Holmes. First up is a chat with Jesse V. Johnson, the writer/director behind Boudica: Queen of War. Next is an interview with Navajo Police: Class 57 directors David Nordstrom, Alex Jablonski, and Kahlil Hudson. Listen to the episode below!

Based on a true story, Boudica: Queen of War centers on a woman (Olga Kurylenko) who takes on the Roman Empire after her husband (Clive Standend) is slain. With her land also confiscated, Boudica has everything going against her until she becomes a symbol of hope and leadership to her people.

Director/writer Jesse V. Johnson’s (Avengement, Hell Hath No Fury) visceral and no holds barred filmmaking is on display, and I also loved the movie’s story building in the first half. Now pllaying and available On Demand and Digital, Boudia: Queen of War is a definite recommend from me and Eric.

Navajo Police: Class 57 is a three pard docuseries that follows a group of recruits at the Navajo Police Training Academy. Filmmakers Alex Jablonski, Kahlil Hudson, and David Nordstrom spent a year documenting these individuals. Now available on HBO and streaming on Max, Navajo Police: Class 57 has received its share of attention. Eric did this interview a couple of weeks back, and I will definitely be checking this series on Max.
