‘Persuasion’ Trailer: Dakota Johnson And Henry Golding Take On Jane Austen

British theatre director Carrie Cracknell makes her feature filmmaking debut with Persuasion. Dakota Johnson, Cosmo Jarvis, and Henry Golding topline the ensemble of Persuasion, which hits Netflix on July 15. Check out the images and trailer below and tell us if you are excited for this Jane Austen adaptation!

Persuasion centers on Anne Elliot (Dakota Johnson), a woman with an independent streak and a modern way of thinking. Years ago she broke the heart of Frederick Wentworth (Cosmo Jarvis), and now she finds him back in her life. Will Anne give love a second chance, or will she have a bit of sense and sensibility (pun intended) when it comes to matters of the heart. Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians, Snake Eyes) is Mr. Elliot, a man of means who rounds out this love triangle.
