“Dangerous Animals” centers on Zephyr (Hassie Harrison), a nomadic surfer who ends up battling a shark loving serial killer named Bruce (Jai Courtney) out on the ocean. Josh Heuston co-stars as Moses, a fellow surfer whose life is also in danger. Feature, which CinemAddicts host Bruce Purkey and I recommend, hits theaters June 6th.

Jake Ryan in Chris Merola’s LEMONADE BLESSING (Credit_ Submarine Entertainment)

“Lemonade Blessing,” written and directed by Chris Merola, centers on John (Jake Ryan) a teenager who goes to a Catholic high school. His infatuation for fellow classmate Lilith (Skye Alyssa Friedman) leads John down an unpredictable path. Both Eric Holmes and Bruce Purkey enjoyed “Lemonade Blessing,” and the movie makes its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. For screening information, go here.
