In need of a zombie apocalypse movie set in Brooklyn? Director Tina Romero’s feature Queens of the Dead, currently streaming on Shudder and AMC+ (also available on Digital), is recommended by CinemAddicts co-host Bruce Purkey. Check out his review below as he discusses why he “really enjoyed” Queens of the Dead.
According to Purkey, the characers are “super differentiated” and “super likable.” So when any type of violence or tragedy occurs, one ends up caring about their respective fates. “That’s a big plus in this movie, and that’s to be applauded,” said Purkey.
